GPI / Careers / Mechanical Engineer

General Plasma mechanical engineers design and build equipment that delivers what the customer needs. Using Solid Works, you will start with customers requirements and turn them into detailed designs, component specifications, instrumentation and control systems and operating procedures. You will work on projects from inception through to installation at the customers site. In the process you will develop an in-depth understanding of vacuum coating technology and the art of building the best thin-film deposition tools in the world.

We recognize and reward ability and getting the job done. We look for people willing to make an unusual level of commitment - long hours, travel, whatever it takes. In return, you get the satisfaction of designing and building state-of-the-art machines, being part of a highly-motivated team, taking on as much responsibility as you can handle, and receiving a commensurate level of compensation.
